The Dufficy Pro Jacket has also been getting the nod. Emails and community forums have been on the hunt for this design. Duff's cut is always bigger than the other cuts in the line, so please keep that in mind. Every Third Thursday: The Sled

Its that time again...Every Third Thursday, Round Two!  Remember the good old days?  When not everything in life was made out of plastic?  Signal does!  We love technology, its what keeps snowboarding progressive.  but every now and again its nice to get back to the basics and let me tell you, The Sled is just that!  All wood core, tip, tail, sidewalls, base, and even top sheet.  This is going to be insane!  Enjoy!

Signal Summer Camp: Alaska!

Summer is here and for a lot of snowboarders its time to trade in the boots and outerwear for boardies and sun block.  But for the first time in 4 years, Alyeska Summer camp in Gridwood, AK is open for all that is summer shred!  The Signal Regional team has been doing their best to pass the stoke and make summer shredable. We checked in with our friend Paul Kelly to get the scoop!

"It’s always a surreal feeling when walking to the gondola on dry concrete, wearing shorts, flip flops, a t-shirt, while toting a snowboard and a gear bag, but isn’t that what summer camp is about? Here in Alaska, we don’t get this opportunity often. With volcanoes exploding, camp cancelations, and low involvement, Alyeska Resort in Gridwood, Alaska has struggled to make summer camp happen…until this year. June 7th-18th marked the first summer snowboard and ski camp in almost 4 years.

Signal Snowboards regional riders were in attendance shredding hard. Travis Moreno traveled nearly 400 miles to spend only one day on snow, “I can’t believe I’m riding in June! The setup is super fun and everyone seems to be having a blast. Definitely worth the drive”. Other riders ripping the beacon were Gordon Foley, Justin Wolfe and Brett Moody among other Signal supporters. T

he setup was unlike any other. With a jump line at the top of the bowl followed by a super pipe, jib/jump line, and a rail garden to finish it off before you got on a fully functional high speed quad chairlift, campers were able to put in almost 1800 vertical feet of summer shred awesomeness in every run! Some of the standout features were the quarterpipe, where dozens of handplants were performed, the double jump line, and the step up to grass gap. Definitely a unique setup that took the natural terrain into consideration. The crew at Snow Grind did an amazing job making things come together for the two sessions.

All in all, kids were stoked, the Omni KILLED it and kids were syked to be on snow for the summer. Whether kids are headed to the states to enjoy some Mt. Hood camp sessions or out to enjoy their summer on the rivers, lakes, or trails of AK, summer camp at Mt. Alyeska was a great way to kick of the summer. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year."
